Library Policies and Procedures

Circulation Guidelines:
Students must present their Student ID Card in order to check out books and to use the network computers.

General books are circulated for two weeks.  Reference books are not circulated outside of the library.

Audiovisual materials are not circulated to students but may be viewed in the Library Viewing Area.

Overdue Materials:
Students will be assessed a fine for overdue or damaged materials.  Fines accrue at 10 cents per school day per book.  The replacement cost of a book is assessed if the book is lost or damaged. 

Student IDs:
Student IDs are required at CHHS.  Students may have their IDs made in the library on Wednesdays.  The cost is $5.00 for the first ID and $3.00 for a replacement.

Printer/Copier:
Students have access to both a copier and a laser printer in the library.  The cost for copies is 10 cents per copy.  The copier takes $1.00 and $5.00 bills and gives change.  Color laser printouts are 35 cents each.
